The Hawaii Public Housing Authority selected Retirement Housing Foundation as the Master Developer for the redevelopment of 6.6 acres owned by Hawaii Public Housing Authority and currently serving as their administrative headquarters in Honolulu. The redevelopment will consist of affordable housing, the new HPHA administrative offices, and retail uses. Retirement Housing Foundation looks forward to working with HPHA and the local community in serving Hawaii’s affordable housing needs.

On January 8, 2018, the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for this project was published and made available for public comment. On January 9th, the Start Advertiser ran a story on the project, updating information based on the DEIS. Click here to read.

As part of the process of keeping the community informed and involved in this development, an Environmental Impact Statement Public Notice has been published with a community meeting scheduled for October 18th.
